dostana

It has been sometime since I last watched a hindi reason. No specific reason exactly just that there has not been any hindi movie which I felt like rushing to watch indeed.

Recently, a friend S went on and on promoting a movie that she watched recently dostana. As far as I know, dost in hindi means friends thus I concluded that dostana meant friendship.

There were several factors which attracted me to dostana. First it was produced by karan johar, secondly it starred two hot hunks john Abraham and abishek bachchan, third it seems there are many juicy scenes in the movie and finally, the movie is about adik adik.

by the way, karan johar – who doesn’t know this adik adik who directed among others kuch kuch hota hai and kabhi kushi kabhi gham. But I have never liked him as always thot he was kekwat well biasalah adik adik. Saw him once in genting highlands and just hated the very sight of him, but again adik adik glam biasalah kekwat senantiasa as if the world revolves around them. but again, memanglah kan … tak diva namanya gitu

so finally I watched dostana, my my my the movie is damn damn damn yummy that you might turn wet or get a hard one (depends on whether you are a betina or a jantan or an adik adik). Nyah basah ratu tengok. To say that john abraham has a delicious body is just not sufficient, you can just bite every inch of his body. Watch out the opening scene when john Abraham is clad in a swimming trunk and shows his ass, akak mak basah kuyup nyah

and abishek bachchan is equally yummy. The first few scenes when he is in bed aiyoo cair mak terus okay…..

the story is about two young bachelors in Miami namely sam and kunal who lie that they are gay in order to rent a house belonging to neha. The reason being neha’s auntie is determined only to rent out the house to girls. As the story progress, both of them start falling in love with neha who is unaware that the two are actually straight. On the other hand love develops between neha and her boss.

Acting wise, abishek bachchan is such a natural that you don’t feel that he is mocking himself being gay. John Abraham is good but could be better as in some scenes, he lacks the facial expression which is required and instead looks rather stoned and clueless. Watch out the part towards the climax (I wont reveal it as to keep you guys in suspense when the two prove their undivided love to neha). In that scene, they just steal the thunder.

Priyanka chopra is fine as neha while kiron kher as the mum does what she is best at although at times you want to see more from her. Bobby deol looks hot but seems to restrain himself.

and also the background score is something to watch out for also the first song.

Cuma I felt the movie could have been slightly better with more fine directing as in this case nampak macam ada loophole sikit. But overall, it is one of those movie which you just cant help but laugh out loud. Malah there were many scenes which I just couldn’t control myself … do not miss out on this one guys...
